 “Success” includes a relentless effort to drive out project and administrative costs, while meeting program targets for compliance, site closure, permitting, risk reduction and other joint goals.  Another key factor for success is ENSR’s ability to seamlessly provide rapid response and consistent global service from our worldwide locations.

At any one time, we have 25 to 30 active alliance partnerships, across multiple industry sectors for the world’s leading corporations. Some of these partnerships have been in place for a decade and have eliminated costs of over $10MM (USD)

ENSR’s stable project teams have produced remarkable results for clients....by exceeding a client’s goal to close 53 contaminated sites in one year of a portfolio reduction program....by completing due diligence on 650 US properties and 300 major facilities in 30 countries in 8 weeks....and by demonstrating irrefutable science to help a client sell a risky property at full asking price -- $30 MM above expectations!

Through collaborative project and knowledge management, effective electronic networking, and technology transfer, we bring global resources to local projects seamlessly and cost effectively.

Excellence Through Client-Focused Innovation

Through innovative project and program management, technical leadership, and research and development, ENSR continually breaks new ground with applied solutions that directly benefit our clients. 

Technical and business leadership is fundamental to our culture. We leverage lessons learned from active professional participation in 60 technical disciplines. Our R&D program has funded 50 projects to develop more cost-efficient technologies and approaches to help clients reach their environmental goals. Recent R&D projects have focused on enhanced geochemical modeling capabilities, new modeling techniques for wind power analysis, advanced "bacterial fingerprinting" of wastewater pollutants, and streamlined business and technical strategies for new project permitting, risk-based closures, and portfolio program management.

Commitment to Health and Safety Excellence

We provide a safe and healthy work environment for all our employees, at all our work sites because it’s the right thing to do for our people and the companies we work with.  Our top down commitment to health and safety (H&S) is embodied in our Best in Class H&S Initiative which drives continuous improvement in H&S performance. We engage our staff and subcontractors in understanding the root causes of unsafe or unhealthy behaviors and strive to eliminate them.

ENSR’s recently received the prestigious BP HSSE Diamond Award, Europe (2005)--presented to the contractor that “...contributed the most to success in HSSE leadership, innovation and subcontractor management.” A Diamond Award finalist in 2003, ENSR also received a BP HSSE Excellence award for its work at a US refinery in 2004.
